This Privacy Policy explains how AwayCoding ("we", "us" or the "Website") handles information when you visit awaycoding.com or contact us.

Information We Handle

Information you provide. When you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address, subject and message. The form is processed by Formspree so that it can be delivered to us. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and anything you include in the message.

Information received automatically. Our hosting, security and advertising providers may receive technical information needed to deliver and protect the Website. This may include your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, requested pages, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the date and time of a request.

We use this information to operate and secure the Website, respond to messages, investigate abuse, and understand or support advertising performance.

Advertising and Cookies

AwayCoding uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, IP addresses and similar technologies to:

  • deliver and measure ads;
  • limit how often an ad appears;
  • detect fraud and abuse; and
  • show personalized ads when permitted by your choices and applicable law.

Analytics

AwayCoding does not currently load a separate Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics service. Google AdSense may provide aggregated advertising and performance reporting as part of its service. If we add a separate analytics service, we will update this policy and provide consent choices where required before enabling it.

AwayCoding is a general-audience coding website and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13.
